Proud students complete special Ten Tors challenge
 |
| Students gather with Truro College staff to receive their certificates for completing the Ten Tors Jubilee Challenge. |
Proud Truro students have received certificates for completing the Ten Tors Jubilee Challenge.
Seven students from the Foundation Studies course at Truro College were presented with certificates after returning from successful completion of the challenge, an event that requires people to trek and navigate across northern Dartmoor along a pre-determined route of eight and a half miles.
The one-day event is primarily for people with physical and learning difficulties.
This year's successful participants were Catherine Iddles from Tregony, Carol Bennett from Lostwithiel, Vicki Eaton from Newquay, Cassie Westwood from Truro, James Willis from Wadebridge, Sean Winter Truro and Paul Keeble from Mabe.
The students were presented with their certificates by Jonathan Burnett, principal of Truro College.
